Kimberly Stice, M.A., has over 25 years' experience in early childhood development, special education, and professional development for early childhood professionals. Stice began her career teaching children with disabilities and medical needs in a long-term care hospital setting, followed by training and research grants from the U.S. Department of Education, the Office of Head Start, and the Office of Child Care. Among her many roles, she served as the infant/toddler disabilities specialist for the American Indian and Alaska Native Disabilities Services Quality Improvement Center, the project coordinator for StoryQUEST: Celebrating Beginning Language and Literacy, the assistant director of the National Head Start Family Literacy Center, and the director of professional development and collaboration for the National Center on Early Childhood Health and Wellness and the Head Start National Center on Health. She is now a senior research director II, working on projects supporting child health, staff well-being, and continuous quality improvement in a variety of human services organizations.
