About Bella Monk

Bella Monk served as a resident teacher in the infant classrooms at Boulder Journey School (BJS) during the 2024–2025 school year. While at BJS, she completed the Boulder Journey School Teacher Education Program and earned her M.A. in Early Childhood Education. She also holds a B.S. in Clinical Counseling Psychology. Bella’s passion for children’s learning and emotional development began with early intervention work. She finds joy in witnessing children form meaningful connections with materials, environments, and others. After her residency, Bella moved to New York City to pursue opportunities in Reggio-inspired schools and fulfill her dream of living in the city.
